The Sims (Plus ALL the Expansion Packs) PC Review
Gameplay: 10/10
Graphic: 9/10
Sound: 10/10
Replayabiliy: 10/10
Opinion: 9/10
Overall: 9.6/10 ( Outstanding )

I have been playing The Sims since it's release in 2000. It is such a simple idea, which is so fun.
I'm reviewing the game with all it's expansion packs. The list follows:
The Sims Deluxe ( with Living' Large Expansion Pack 1 ) (Original Version)
The Sims House Party ( Expansion Pack 2 )
The Sims Hot Date ( Expansion Pack 3 )
The Sims Vacation ( Expansion Pack 4 )
The Sims Unleashed ( Expansion Pack 5 )
The Sims Superstar ( Expansion Pack 6 )
The Sims Makin' Magic ( Final Expansion Pack 7 )

This could be the perfect game ever that appeal to females and males.
Currently, 55% of all Sims players are male and 45% of all Sims players are female. Normally, most games have 90% males and 10% females. Why is The Sims appealing to both sexes? Will Wright ( the almighty creator ) says that The Sims allows freedom. Players can do love stories or build a dream home or just want to experiment or wants to create. This appeals to alot of people due to the freedom.

Gameplay: 10
The whole thing is a dollhouse, and you are somewhat god. You create the little people called "Sims" and you help them ( or destroy them ) as their lives progress. For example, I can make Bob Newbie be a lowly intern or be a rockstar as it is totally up to the player. I could kill Bob Newbie by fire or torture him with a voodoo doll his wife uses. Almost total freedom, too bad you can't change the laws of physics in the game.....yet. Each Sim haves his/her own needs. Every Sim can feel hungry, or need to go to the toliet, or feel tired or feel lonely. All this affect their mood. You might get so attached to them ( like me ) that you love them and don't want them to DIE and you will guide them to love, or sucess. Over 200 Social Interactions can happen between sims. Kissing, hugging, tickle, talk, brag, nag, fight, slap, apologise, I can't name them all.

The game is simple. Build, Buy, Live. Build your Sims a home ( or if you are lazy, buy a pre-built house ), buy furnitures like sofas and beds, tables, pictures, coffee tables and so much more. And lastly, Live, guide your sims to sucess ( or failure ).

With all the expansion packs, I could give Gameplay a 12 instead of 10. "House Party" allows your sims to host parties with their other neighbours ( whom you also create ).
"Hot Date" enables the Downtown area where your Sims can buy new PJs or swimsuits or take their date for dinner or a friend to socialise. "Vacation" enables the Vacation Island where Sims can spend some Family time with their children. "Unleashed" opens your Sims neighbourhood from a small 10 lots to a mega 55 lots ( i think, there is too many to count ) for even more neighbours or develop the neighbourhood into shops and parks as the neighbourhood is now called Old Town. "Unleashed" also installs pets for your Sims who always wanted a dog or cat. "Superstar" opens the Studio Town area, and now your Sims can be famous. The final expansion pack, "Makin' Magic" allows your Sims to do magic and opens Magic Town. There is so many things in the Sims, and it'll take a chomp out of your hard drive, permanently. Now there's hundreds or thousands of fan sites creating clothes ( or skins in Sim Language ), objects, walls, floors, roofs, fireplaces, stairs, windows, doors, etc...
Watch out, low end computers especially Pentium 2 will struggle on the engine as the game uses alot of resource due to the massive calculation needed for every sim as each sim have their needs and moods.

The game have it's own system and walls will get out of the way so that you could see whatever your Sim is doing.

Graphics: 9
The graphic engine have changed little since it's release in 2000. That explains why The Sims isn't in true 3D yet. The graphics are clean and colourful. But there is a occasionally problem like a picture hanging on the wall or doors blocking your view. But all the objects have no problem, no graphic glitch, no problem. Nothing is awful unless you furnish the house awfully.

Building is always fun in The Sims.

Sound:10
Sound is realistic. Your Sims don't speak English but "Simmish". They will talk naturally like humans. The game have so much realism. Like you can hear the TV show or a jingle when it is showing advertisment. Toliets flushing, phones ringing, cars driving away, Pianos playing, Jukeboxs blasting, Stoves cooking, Fridges opening, all the sound is so real.

Replayability: 10
The game shines here. There is no end, no way of winning or lossing. So this is an endless game, no objectives, pure freedom. And if you don't like what you did, you can demolish or evict the Sims and build over.

Reviewer's Opinion: 9
This game is not a game, it is an addiction. It is like a safe drug, you do feel doubtful sometimes after sometime, but launching it will get you back into the addiction. Gotta throw of 1 point due to some bugs here and there. But it won't affect gameplay too much.

One Of The Best Games Ever.
